This page will provide a glimpse into the building of the new retail space.  Blue Ridge Backwoods purchased a vacant light industrial manufacturing facility in Monticello for use as archery ranges and retail space.  Because the building is up to 130 ft long and can be subdivided - it is perfect for archery ranges.

The project consists of the following four phases:

Acquisition: Finding and purchasing suitable space.
Status: Done

Demolition - removing and salvaging the remaining trade fixtures.  Tearing down walls.
Status - Done. Ahead of Schedule

Framing - rebuilding the interior of the building for use as an archery specialty store.
Status - Completed. On time.

Drywall - installation of drywall.
Status - Completed, 2 weeks late.

Interior Painting - painting all interior surfaces.
Status - Completed, in record time.

TechnoHunt - installation is scheduled to begin on April 18, 2005.
Status: Complete. On time.

Floors - Repairing and resurfacing all concrete floors
Status - In Progress

Ceilings - Paint all ceilings
Status - Done

Dropped Ceilings - put dropped ceilings into the retail, office, bathroom, and lounge areas.
Status - Not yet started.

Backstops - All backstops need to be constructed by the second week of May.
Status - Delayed.

New Store Front - build a new facade for the building.
Status - Porch designed and constructed; Materials ordered, will be delivered on May 14, 2005.  Construction to begin on May 16, 2005.

Stocking: Receive all merchandise and organize displays.
Status - Shipments arriving daily.

Complete Outdoor 3D Range - Design, Layout, Clear, and setup the range / targets.
Status - all targets purchased / received; Range scheduled for completion early June.

Store Opening: Early June.

Grand Opening: TBD
