Would you like to be able to practice during the winter? Hang around with other individuals shooting professional tournaments?  Work in one of the best bow shops in Illinois?

Our sponsorship program is intended to help archers compete at the top levels by providing the facilities and expert guidance required to achieve their best. 

We have restricted the membership in our shooting program to 10 individuals and prefer a mixture of men, women, adult and youth shooters.  We currently have positions open - during a normal year the selection committee will meet in January to make decisions for the following year. A sponsorship lasts for one year only and all current members must re-apply for the next year.

Sponsorship Program

As a member of our shooting staff, you are entitled to the following benefits and expected to perform certain tasks to help support the archery shop.

Free Indoor Range Time (Excludes Techno Hunt).

10% off any purchases made in the shop (excluding sales or promotional prices).

We have a strong preference that you shoot a bow from one of the manufacturers represented in our shop.  The current list is Hoyt, Mathews, Parker, Bear, Jennings, and Reflex.

Participation in a minimum of 5 Blue Ridge Backwoods sponsored shooting tournaments each year.  This may include any combination of Indoor Spots, Outdoor 3D, Indoor 3D, or Techno Hunt.

Work, free of charge, one weekend each month in the archery shop during the busy season (September, October and November).

In addition to this, Blue Ridge Backwoods will maintain a current picture and list of accomplishments for each shooter on our public web site. A great way to gain exposure and publicly display your accomplishments.

For consideration, you should stop by the shop and talk to our management staff in person.  Bring your bow and be prepared as we are looking for excellent shooters who want to compete.
